Ninefold Privacy Policy

Ninefold is an offline maze game published by Oxyscapist Online. Privacy and support enquiries can be sent to contact@oxyscapist.online.

Data on your device

Ninefold stores your control, sound, haptic and sensitivity settings; completed game scores, times, number order and control mode; and a checkpoint of your unfinished run. These records stay in the app's private storage. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics service or Internet permission. It does not automatically send your game records or settings to us or to another service.

Motion controls and feedback

In Tilt mode, Ninefold uses gravity or accelerometer readings to steer. These readings are processed in memory. Raw motion readings are not saved or sent anywhere. Touch mode does not use motion readings to steer. Sound is generated on your device, and the vibration permission supports local haptic feedback.

Sharing a score

Sharing is optional. When you tap Share your score, Android lets you choose another app. The shared text contains the challenge date, score, elapsed time, sequence count and control mode. The recipient app handles that text under its own privacy practices. Ninefold does not choose a recipient or share scores automatically.

Retention and removal

Completed tries remain in private storage until you clear Ninefold's storage through Android Settings or uninstall the app. An unfinished run is replaced when you confirm Discard and start new. Checkpoints are saved periodically and when paused; an abrupt stop may lose the most recent unsaved moments. History and progress are not backed up to the cloud or automatically transferred to another device. There are no online accounts or server-side game records to delete.

Contact and website

If you email us, we receive the address and information you choose to include. We use it to respond and address your enquiry, and retain it only as needed for that purpose and applicable record-keeping obligations. Please do not include passwords or sensitive personal information in support messages. Opening the online privacy page happens in your browser. Its hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes connection information needed to deliver and protect the website; this is separate from the offline game.
